Default  How do you look at the errata?

How do you sign up for the section of the board to look at the errata? I believe there is an error in the book, but I'm not positive. Thanks.

Yes, I also joined to check the errata for the MCAT Physics course I am studying, and cannot view anything. Likewise I cannot view any topics in the 1001 Questions sub-forum. Help with this would be greatly appreciated!

I am in the same situation, and am requesting a refund if the errata cannot be viewed. Please resolve this issue, thanks!

I thought you could look at it once you register. I guess not. If you tell me the errata I can tell you if its noted or not in the errata section. edit: turns out there is a fee to look at the errata (just read it in another topic) so turns out I won't be able to help you. sorry.

Wow...So let me get this straight: 1) We buy their books that come with errors in them. 2) We have to pay to see what those errors are. There's something not right there... I was thinking about buying two more 1001 books and the audio osmosis. Not now...Forget it...I'll get material elsewhere.

Though I have access, I totally agree with you. It is ridiculous to have pay extra for mistakes they made. Wish I could help.

This is the main reason I registered, to view the errata. This is wonderfully frustrating...

Default  Elite EK members, please help!

To those with access to the errata, do you see the errata for the 6th edition as well? I agree with everyone here that it sucks to have to pay to see the errors. The only thing that will suck more is to pay the fee and later discover that the errata for the version I use - 6th edition - aren't even there. So can one of you guys who can view those ultraexclusive webpages please let me know if the 6th edition is supported? Thanks a lot! And to the EK admin, if you are trying to recoup the money you lost from pirated copies of your book, this is not the way to do it. Why not use some product ID verification system so that you don't unnecessarily punish those of us who purchased the real thing?

In the read this section first! part of the Biology book it states that "we provide a public list of our errata for your benefit". I am frustrated to find out that this is false after paying for the book and registering on this website. What an annoying way to try to earn a little extra money.
